Farnsworth Group is seeking a Transportation Engineer Intern in our Lisle, IL or Peoria, IL office. Qualified candidates will have an opportunity to work with a team of experienced Transportation Engineers on a variety of transportation related projects. In this role, you will gain experience in the following:
+ Design of various transportation and traffic projects
+ Preparation of construction documents
+ Construction administration
+ General project and office/ field support
Specific Requirements include:
+ Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited Civil Engineering program, with a concentration in Transportation or Traffic preferred
+ Computer proficiency with Word and Excel
+ MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience desired
+ Valid Driver’s License
