A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You’ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.

Our Internal Tax team provides internal services related to financial services, treasury and taxation. As part of our team, you’ll help the team provide a full range of taxation services to PwC related to complex financial reporting, cost management, tax planning, investment management and transaction processing.

The IT role within Partnership Tax exists to develop an understanding of the department’s tax technology needs and to assist in multiple projects with the goal to align our business and tax requirements by identifying and addressing gaps. As a part of the team, you will collaborate with the firm’s IT and Partner Affairs teams, ensure proper testing, help optimize opportunity cost, identify efficiency opportunities and document the requirements to create solutions that meet user needs.

2 year(s) of experience in progressive roles involving change management.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills :

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing client needs:

+ Utilizing experience with PeopleSoft;

+ Understanding individual or partnership income tax concepts and filing requirements;

+ Understanding financial systems, business processes and organization structure;

+ Collaborating with team members and key stakeholders to drive strategic direction by executing change management and communications plans to influence adoption and sustainability of change for strategic initiatives;

+ Driving adherence to risk management protocols as it relates to events;

+ Leveraging technology and tools to enable and facilitate change communications, such as MS365, and web-based publishing tools, webcasts and videos;

+ Showcasing experience in data analysis (survey data, comms metrics) to pull insights;

+ Writing and developing training materials, presentations, including content and graphics, and tailoring content to intended audience;

+ Creating deliverables with the highest standards of quality and accuracy;

+ Supporting executive/leadership communications, execution of large webcasts (including logistics, materials, vendor engagement, executive prep) and storyboards for multimedia/video planning;

+ Communicating effectively via multiple channels and with impact to leadership audiences, as well as external audiences, as needed;

+ Utilizing extensive analytical, organizational, enhanced listening, problem solving, negotiation, and facilitation skills;

+ Maintaining change files and providing historical information as required;

+ Solving problems with attention to detail, coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously and working independently with minimal supervision;

+ Collaborating with team members virtually, including supporting the work/life balance of the team;

+ Driving automation & digitization in a professional services environment including but not limited to innovating through new and existing technologies, experimenting with digitization solutions, working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools, and utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements; and,

+ Having an understanding of the team’s business cycle and needs and coordinating with the IT teams to ensure alignment on business objectives between the business team and the delivery team.
