MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN / MANUFACTURING / PRODUCTION

HOURS:
- Second Shift
- 2nd shift has 10% shift differential
- Typical hours are 3 pm – 2 am
Scot Forge is an employee-owned company that manufactures custom open die and rolled ring forgings used in demanding applications all over the world. At Scot Forge, we help our customers with forged solutions from the world’s physical infrastructure, energy, and transportation to manufacturing, mining, and our national defense.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
+ 1 – 2 years’ experience in an industrial/manufacturing maintenance environment
+ Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
+ Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and preventative maintenance
+ Knowledge in 480V 3 phase power
+ Good communication skills
+ Detailed oriented; organized and capable of multi-tasking

QUALIFICATIONS:
+ 2+ years of plant maintenance experience
+ Blueprint reading
+ Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs
+ Experience with manual machining
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Ability to climb ladders and work at elevations up to 60 feet
+ Preferred – Associates degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Mechanic Technical Diploma, or successful completion of Mechatronics Apprenticeship Program
