Job Description
As a Wealth Transfer Specialist, you’ll provide processing of variable and fixed annuity death claim support to Investment Relationship Managers of U S Bancorp Investment Sales.
+ Performs administrative support duties to assist Investment Relationship Managers with preparing death claim paperwork and organizing paper flow in adherence to the firm’s record-keeping requirements..
+ Research internal and /or external beneficiary needs and responds appropriately. May refer requests or problems to Investment Relationship Managers or Market Management Team.
+ Performs other assignments as requested.
+ Actively ensures compliance with the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies and procedures. Actively participates in any required corporate and business line training in these areas. Follows account opening procedures and understands and follows internal suspicious activity referral requirements and processes, as required for this position. Actively works with customers to understand each customer’s normal account activity, as appropriate for this position.
Basic Qualifications
+ High school diploma, or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
+ Prefer 5+ years of investment industry experience.
+ Active FINRA SIE, Series 7, Series 63 and 65/or 66 registrations and life, variable life, health and disability insurance licenses.?
Preferred Skills/Experience
+ Strong knowledge of the financial services industry, specifically with variable and fixed annuities and brokerages services, internal policies, procedures, and all associated regulatory requirements.
+ Must understand and have experience with the policies, processes, and procedures of the brokerage industry, FINRA and SEC regulatory standards and all applicable regulatory bodies, ensuring regulatory standards are met.
+ Is an engaged team member and actively engaged with bank partners, a positive role model and sets an example of providing best in class customer service.
+ Has mastery of internal administrative, compliance and operational procedures. Excellent communication, organization, problem solving, prioritization, follow-up and relationship building skills.
+ Independently completes all required CE and training courses prior to deadline. Has the ability and desire to train and mentor others on usage and best practices relating to using internal tools, processes and systems.
+ Has strong technical aptitude and is an early adopter of new technology and processes.
+ Is a leader in accepting change, motivated to learn new things and engage in finding the best practices, challenge the status quo and seek to improve operational efficiency and share findings with others.
+ Is self-motivated to learn and develop themselves.
+ Shares honest, constructive feedback with management.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $21.20 – $28.27 – $31.10
