Responsibilities
Assist in directing services, workflow and resources for assigned long-term care nursing area.
+ Assist in developing, organizing and implementing clinical services and programs.
+ Communicate policies, expected outcomes, work routines, and work procedures to clinical staff
+ Assist with implementation and evaluation of quality of care including ongoing auditing of quality indicators.
+ Assist in monitoring nursing budgets.
+ Assist with admissions, discharges and transfer to ensure appropriate care and compliance with State and/or Federal regulations.
+ Manage activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
+ BLS Provider preferred.
Education:
+ Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
Work Experience:
+ 5 years of experience required.
+ 10 years of experience preferred.
+ 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
+ 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
