What You’ll Do

The Senior Finance Analyst reporting to the Director of Finance will maintain and further develop financial models, execute monthly financial forecasting and annual budgeting process for a portfolio of business departments, support monthly management reporting, play a key role within the Financial Planning software application and assist department management with variety of ad-hoc analyses.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Analyze financial data and prepare department forecasts and monthly reports

- Develop, document and communicate the department and program budget process, including timeline and business inputs

- Assist in the development and ongoing maintenance of various financial models and reporting tools

- Assist in the execution of the company’s annual budget and forecast exercises

- Work with and provide finance decision support to business leaders, including regular production of management reporting packages

- Assist with maintenance regarding written policies and procedures applicable to the Finance Department

- Support regulatory reporting obligations

- Support internal and external audit requests

- Help with design and implementation of enhancements to Finance team Financial Planning and Workforce planning systems.

- Perform ad-hoc analysis as requested

Requirements

Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of statistical concepts and financial modeling

- Excellent ability to manipulate raw data, create insightful analysis, generate creative analytics and data-driven decisions with effective storytelling commentary

- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and execute duties in a highly collaborative team environment

- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Technical Skills:

- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

- Experience with Oracle ERP and Hyperion / PBCS (Planning, Budgeting, Cloud Services)/Apptio a plus

- Knowledge of SQL query writing a plus

Education and/or Experience:

- 4-7 years in an analytical role in corporate finance with specific focus on financial planning and analysis
