Senior Business Systems Analyst

Job Description

Drive solution development of mid to large-scale initiatives designed to improve business operations and processes. Contribute to digital framework definition and execution. Employ understanding of Supply Chain applications and lead application build efforts across disciplines and subject areas for the team for ongoing and future products. Act as Technical Lead on projects ensuring alignment with standards for applications architecture, technology, and supply chain. Collaborate with the hardware, network and database architects in application design and implementation. Consult with business teams in the analysis and definition of short and long range business requirements and recommend innovations which anticipate the future impact of changing business requirements. Work with the Supply Chain Domain Architect on Digital Supply Chain framework and roadmap designs and solutions development. Identify and drive opportunities for cross-supply chain system efficiencies and data handling and quality. Escalate open issues to ensure execution success and keeps stakeholders informed through effective verbal and written communication. Employ experience in methods and technologies including Big Data, IoT, predictive analytics. Create and maintain project and technical documentation including impact analysis, user requirements document, functional specification documents, technical requirements, IT procedures, SIQ (software installation qualification), cost and effort estimates. Employ knowledge of the Software Lifecycle (SLC) in order to produce detailed deliverables for all IT projects to ensure the safety of products and accordance with GxP requirements. Develop and support client and internal reporting requirements and systems. Support business acceptance testing and system validation activities. Provide development team direction on implementation options. 5% domestic and international travel required.

 

Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or a highly related field of study with at least five (5) years of related progressing experience; OR, alternatively Master’s degree in the aforementioned fields with at least two (2) years of related progressing experience. Each academic alternative with at least two (2) years of related experience in the following: (i) Digital Supply Chain framework and roadmap designs and solutions development; (ii) identifying and driving opportunities for cross-supply chain system efficiencies and data handling and quality; (iii) methods and technologies including Big Data, IoT, predictive analytics; (iv) creating and maintaining project and technical documentation including impact analysis, user requirements document, functional specification documents, technical requirements, IT procedures, SIQ (software installation qualification), cost and effort estimates; and (v) employing knowledge of the Software Lifecycle (SLC) in order to produce detailed deliverables for all IT projects to ensure the safety of products and accordance with GxP requirements.
