Job Description
PURPOSE
Responsible for the everyday waving of billable product for the warehouse, processing freight bills from Third Party Carriers, and clerical duties to support department goals and objectives in accordance with standard procedures
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs waving process for orders to be selected for shipping
- Monitors cube and weight of routes in order to fit them on appropriate number of outbound trucks
- Tracks, maintains, and updates various spreadsheets
- Assists Customer Service in pulling Special Extracts for emergency customer orders
- Performs data entry in a timely fashion in Excel and Access
- Assists with special projects as needed and assigned
- Types correspondence and reports, verifying and assuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Communicates frequently with customers concerning orders
REQUIREMENTS
- Attends work regularly and on time as scheduled, and maintains an acceptable attendance level.
- Plans and prioritizes work load to ensure that department needs are met as well as the overall organizational needs of the company
