Job Description
Senior Engineer Solutions Engineering for RXO Managed Transport, LLC at its facilities located in Naperville, IL. Duties: Provide value propositions by identifying opportunities through rigorous data collection and analysis; craft marketable and creative solutions for clients. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or related Engineering field. Experience must include two (2) years post-bachelor’s progressive experience in all of the following: Utilizing lean concepts to include A3s, continuous improvement roadmaps, and process mapping to manage supply chain and logistics projects; Preparing and leading presentations to customer stakeholders; Creating and interpreting data models in ILOG, Supply Chain Guru, Appian or other network/transportation optimization software; Creating, managing and maintaining cost savings methodologies and calculations for projects; Automating work processes to generate quantifiable man hour savings; Creating Standard Work Instructions and Operating Procedures to define standard work; Data mining and generating simulations in Microsoft BI, Access and Excel to identify and scope opportunities within the customer’s supply chain; Creating, managing, and maintaining Key Performance Indicators in a software to include Microsoft Power BI or Tableau to drive action and provide visibility to supply chain and transportation costs.
