Industry Solution Architect / Subject Matter Specialist – Chemicals Industry
(REMOTE)
Capgemini is hiring an experienced Industry Solutions Architect with Chemicals industry experience. The Solutions Architect will collaborate with our Energy Utilities & Chemicals (EUC) Business Unit teams to recognize industry trends affecting Chemical companies and shape Capgemini solutions to meet their needs. The position will collaborate with Capgemini teams across our entire services portfolio to tailor solutions which will focus on the North American market but will include global interaction as appropriate. Active customer and prospect engagement will be essential including marketing, sales, and client program delivery.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
+ Collaborate with Capgemini service portfolio teams to tailor solutions to best align with Chemical industry trends and the needs of our clients
+ Provide sales support to the business development teams during pursuit cycles to understand Chemical client’s objectives and tailor proposed solution to best meet their requirements
+ Interact with Capgemini marketing to produce branding materials including thought leadership and industry market research related to the Chemical Industry
+ Engage with our clients in the delivery of Capgemini services as a Chemicals Solution Architect with particular emphasis in areas of strategic digital roadmap design, launch, and proof-of-concepts
+ Support on-going improvement and evolution of Capgemini methodologies and intellectual property which support Capgemini service delivery
+ Active participation in the acquisition of talent required to meet the Chemical Industry needs. Collaborate with various Capgemini teams in talent acquisition and development
Experience and Skills:
+ At least 7 years in Chemicals manufacturing industry and consulting experience
+ Experience in pre-sales and consulting engagement program delivery
+ Digital enablement experience in areas of manufacturing operations, supply chain, corporate functions, and/or commercial functions
+ Deep understanding of leading digital technologies and ability to design a tailored solution to meet chemical clients’ needs
+ Experience working in an Agile/POD centric environment
+ Experience leading matrixed teams in a hybrid work environment
+ Experience working in a networked organization which collaborates across global regions
+ Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
+ Experience using Excel, PowerPoint, and other office collaboration tools
