School Social Worker
About Us: AnthroMed Education is a loyal provider of Special Education and Related Service hiring needs to pre-K-12 th grade schools across the entire Illinois area. We are currently expanding our team, and immediately seeking a compassionate School Social Worker who is driven to make an impact supporting a K-4th grade student population in Joliet. + Provide effective social work services and support to a K-4th grade student population.
+ Support and service in classroom groups.
+ Help with screening students.
+ Provide strong and effective social work services and support.
+ Deliver emotional support strategies to students.
+ Utilize Embrace.
+ Establish strong and healthy relationships with both students and parents/guardians.
+ Educate parents/guardians on intervention strategies.
+ Connect students and families with community mental health organizations if necessary.
Requirements:+ Master’s Degree in School Social Work (MSW) is required.
+ Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social.
+ Ability to work both individually as well as in a team-based environment with staff, students, administrators, and parents.
