Job Description

KPMG LLP, Director, NBPG (Multiple Positions), Chicago, IL. Work with quality assurance teams to develop and implement strategies for functional testing, performance testing, and test automation. Supervise resource needs and budget for the QA department. Establish standards in all areas of testing to ensure consistency and effectiveness of testing and act as escalation point for quality related issues and resolution for multiple projects. Act as a trusted advisor with business clients, managing customer expectations and perceptions. Work closely with leadership team to ensure that quality requirements are consistently met in all phases of project planning and execution. Supervise performance of vendor resources and vendor relationships. Partner with other testing teams within and outside the organization in knowledge sharing and identifying opportunities for improvements and automation. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and 7 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: Onshore or offshore Quality Assurance resources for testing outcomes; Utilizing Agile or Iterative; Utilizing Waterfall application development methodologies; Test automation and performance testing; and experience in using Test management tools including JIRA and Selenium.

Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 10%.
