Job Description
Offering Manager, IBM Corporation, Chicago, IL: Responsible for defining product strategy and communicating strategy to wider company team, analysts, and customers. Define product roadmap and work with development and design teams to ensure it is implemented. Work with marketing on product capabilities and value proposition. Collect and build data pipelines by processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis. Build, validate and optimize statistical and machine learning models with a focus on big data. Capture and track relevant key metrics that can guide and influence stakeholders. Understand business needs and provide data-driven analytical solutions. Develop and execute roadmaps, business models and go-to-market plans. Articulate market opportunities to offering team. Utilize software development, data analysis, Java, Python, MySQL, and Oracle. Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Data Science or related (employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Software Engineer or related.
