Job Summary
This position is responsible for leading transformative cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives in support of the business. This can be done through the application of various continuous improvement tools and techniques such as value stream and process mapping, waste and root cause analyses, and strategic planning methodologies. With understanding and application of governance standards, continuous improvement (Lean Six Sigma, PDCA) and delivery methodologies (Agile), this role is responsible and accountable for facilitating and coaching various stakeholders towards operational optimization.

Job Responsibilities:

*Act as an organizational partner to identify and shepherd execution of continuous improvement initiatives for internal customers including but not limited to, conducting strategic planning and discovery sessions, performing root cause analysis, and validating improvement value realization through metrics.

*Refine and mature a formal continuous improvement program

*Facilitate and coach the organization through improvement initiatives using PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) and Lean Six Sigma approaches.

*Train, coach, and motivate the HCSC community in the understanding and adoption of CI tools and techniques and promote a continuous improvement culture and use of those tools.

*Partner with internal audit and controls team to ensure controls are architected into processes, delivery models and governance

*Consult on internal team operations and improvements including backlog management, metrics and data assessment, process change, and process guide management.

Required Job Qualifications:
*Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing process improvement projects AND technical processes.
*Experience delivering transformative cross functional improvement projects within a matrixed organization
*Experience conducting lean workshops; 5S, KPI, Kaizen, VSM
*Analytical thinking and consultative problem solving
*Understanding of iterative/agile delivery methodologies.
*Understanding of standards, procedures and policies (e.g., HIPAA.), security standards and regulatory compliance tools and platforms.
*Proficient in process engineering and design.
*Ability to synthesize, simplify, and standardize complex concepts/processes
*Ability to influence and execute while navigating customer relationships.
*Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize, and make trade-off decisions.
*Adaptability/ability to manage change.
*Teamwork and collaboration.

Preferred Job Qualifications:
. Experienced and knowledgeable in Lean and/or Six Sigma philosophies, tools, and techniques.
. Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
. Prior experience in Consulting, Information Technology, Insurance, and/or Healthcare.
. Understanding of change management, release management and SDLC processes.
. Understanding of future/emerging technologies.
