ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a CAD designer to join our Publishing team who will contribute to the expansion and ongoing maintenance of our CAD library. We currently offer over 600,000 CAD models and drawings on our website today.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
CAD Designers work in a production heavy environment building new 2D and 3D models or editing existing ones. They will use SolidWorks 100% of their day to reverse engineer models and literature provided by our suppliers for the McMaster-Carr offering. The most successful and satisfied CAD designers are individuals who enjoy working in SolidWorks and have developed strong skills in design tables, configurations, and unique modeling techniques across a wide range of products.
Hybrid schedule: work from home and in office three consecutive days per month.
The starting pay range for this role is $75,000 – $85,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for Cash Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (DPS) contributions.
