A career in our Risk Modeling Services practice will provide you with the opportunity to contribute general insurance advice and consulting services to clients such as insurers, banks, regulators, and third party administrators. You’ll provide advice covering solvency, economic capital, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, company restructuring and risk control, financial modelling, underwriting, new legislation, and the efficiency of claims or reporting processes. Simply put, you might help analyse the impact that new regulation will have on an insurance company’s balance sheet or you could be revising businesses’ projections and making sure they have adequate reserves.

Our team helps insurers address new financial reporting requirements by assessing the financial and business impacts of regulations, building implementation plans, and implementing relevant requirements, particularly across areas of financial reporting change.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills :

Demonstrates proven thought leader level knowledge of, and/or is recognized as an industry thought leader with proven success in roles directing, technical actuarial subject matter specialization, especially in Life and Non-Life industry and regulatory developments.

Demonstrates proven thought leader level knowledge of, and/or success in roles involving, directing efforts to identify and address client needs for a global network of professional services consulting firms, emphasizing the following areas:

+ Working in Database (PRD), Data Conversion System (DCS)) in the following specific areas: Insurance Data Repository (IDR), Prophet Control Center (PCC), Flexible Results API and Advanced Prophet library user;

+ Developing and sustaining extensive client relationships using networking, negotiation and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities;

+ Preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials; and,

+ Defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, collection.

Demonstrates proven thought leader level abilities and/or success with directing and performing as a team leader:

+ Using spreadsheets, database and/or other actuarial software-related technologies;

+ Writing, communicating, facilitating, and presenting cogently to all levels of industry audiences clients and internal staff and management;

+ Leading teams to generate a vision, to establish direction and motivate members; and,

+ Creating an atmosphere of trust, leveraging diverse views, and coaching staff to encourage improvement and innovation.
