Job Description
Consultants for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the US (HQ: Chicago, IL). Lead and supervise team of Data Scientists in researching, developing, and maintaining statistical algorithms, analytics and methodologies that fuel Liquid Data deliverables. Responsible for expanding solution suite and high-level architectural development. Collaborate with cross functional team members. Lead customized research projects to develop and enhance methodologies and algorithms. Oversee team to develop processes to extract data across a multitude of platforms. Guide team to use software to write, validate, and maintain data to support research and analysis. Ensure project timelines are met, coordinate project schedules. Recruit, onboard, mentor and manage performance of team members and provide feedback in performance review process. Investigate and resolve production and client data issues. Present complex subject matter to non-technical audience. Technical environment: machine learning algorithms (cluster analysis, time series models, random forest); hot deck imputation; R, R Shiny, Unix shell scripting; Python; Hadoop, Hive, SQL, Linux servers, git; data mining, data integration, data fusion; algorithms; statistical process control, experimentation, hypothesis testing.
