Job Description
The Opportunity
Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Cage Cashier to join our team at Gaming and Entertainment Management (GEM) in Naperville, Illinois. Cage Cashiers handle large amount of currency, cash checks, redeems tickets, vouchers, table games chip to guests in a professional manner displaying a high standard of guest service.
Full Time; Monday thru Friday 7:00AM – 3:00PM (some holiday’s may be required).
Must be 21 years old.
Pay rate: $15 per hour.
Minimum pay rate: $15.00 / hour

Responsibilities
+ Handle large sums of money in an accurate manner, including validating tickets for guests and paying accordingly, distributing cash to associates for jackpots and hand-pays, processing and verifying travelers checks, providing check approval, check cashing service and cash advance services.
+ Maintain an accurate count of bank.
+ Perform regular cash buys to Cage Supervisor.
+ Issue and redeem chips, process chip fills and credits.
+ Perform as a team member and assist fellow employees to ensure a smooth operation.
+ Follow all departmental and state policies and procedures.
+ Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
+ Must be at least [XX] years of age.
+ Experience handling large amounts of money.
+ 6 months’ cash handling experience preferred.
+ Excellent organization and guest service skills.
+ Excellent math skills including addition and subtraction.
+ Basic computer skills preferred.
Physical Requirements
+ Ability to lift or carry 30 pounds.
+ Exposure to secondhand smoke.
+ Exposure to high volume noise.
