The Opportunity
This position works out of our Lake Forest, IL location in the Core Diagnostics Division. Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories, and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments and informatics systems are often the first step in patient care decision making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.
The Division Manager, Quality Systems will manage a global team and oversee and provide direction for Global Change Control and Learning and Development for the Division. Develop long-term strategies to meet Divisional and Site goals. Coordinate a broad; multi-disciplined work unit. Accountable for achievement of compliance; financial; and performance goals. Responsible for establishing; monitoring; and maintaining the quality system.
What You’ll Work On
+ Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.
+ Maintains and ensures compliance of the Quality Management system through oversight of change control for quality system procedures.
+ Maintains oversight of Learning and Development for the division, including learning support, training material development, and transactions in the learning management system (ISOTrain).
+ Process owner and subject matter expert for QSR documents and document control, may own other quality subsystem processes as appropriate.
+ Business owner for multiple Non-product software IT systems associated with Change Management.
+ Supports inspection/audit activities as a subject matter expert.
+ Continuously identifies and drives improvements to the quality system.
+ Functions as liaison for the Division to multiple manufacturing sites worldwide.
+ Communicates effectively, influences, and negotiates with internal stakeholders ensuring successful compliance status of the division.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree
+ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Quality or Compliance discipline or other regulated industry, including a minimum of 4 years of supervisory/management/leadership experience (direct or indirect).
Preferred Qualifications
+ Master’s Degree is preferred
+ Minimum 10 years in quality functional roles desired with at least 3 years of direct management and supervision of personnel and resources.
+ Experience with change control and/or learning and development and associated IT systems
