Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.

The selected candidate should have the following behavior skills:

+ Works well independently and develops quick engineering solutions for complex problem

+ Skilled at interfacing with engineers and managers by providing schedule updates

+ High problem-solving skills and good tolerance for ambiguity

+ Knows how to prioritize tasks independently

+ Natural focus on quality, discipline, and accurate results for engineering customers

+ Contributes and works well in a multi-site team setting

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job.

Minimum Qualifications

Pursuing and/or enrolled in a Mater’s OR PhD degree in Computer Science with 6+ months of educational or industry experience.

6+ months experience with 3 or more of the following skills:

+ Linux/Windows development environments

+ C++ and Python

+ Parallel programming concepts and tools

+ Design Patterns

Availability for 6+ months internship.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with LLVM, MLIR stacks.

Familiarity with NumPy and Numba.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
