Title: Electrification Product Verification & Validation Engineer – 96619

Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position

Your Responsibilities

As an Electrification PV&V Engineer for John Deere Electric Powertrain located in Moline, IL, you will:

+ Own PDP PVV deliverables for certain SA&T applications

+ Author and execute test plans and document results utilizing enterprise tools (Vision, Viewing Tool)

+ Interact with platform and component level PV&V to ensure tests are conducted appropriately

What Skills You Need

+ At least 4 years of applied knowledge of Deere EPDP, ISDP and TDP processes or equivalent industry processes

+ At least 4 years of data acquisition and processing (CAN, eDAQ, nCode)

+ 4 years of technical authoring or experience in writing test plans

+ 4 years of demonstrated ability to lead technical projects, executing projects on time and on budget

+ Vision (or V2Net) experience

+ Understanding of or experience with electric drives, vehicle hybrid powertrain systems, or power electronics

+ Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%

What Makes You Stand Out

+ Demonstrated understanding of electric drive systems

+ Demonstrated ability to verify electric drive components and systems including test planning, test setup, test execution, and test documentation. Scope includes functional performance, environmental qualification, certification, component reliability, and system durability

+ Experience in the field of Reliability Engineering, ability to calculate reliability goals and build reliability focused test plans

+ Advanced knowledge of CAN

+ General product knowledge of SA&T Applications

Education

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

+ Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or similar) with emphasis on electric machines, power electronics, electric drive control, and/or similar technologies or Bachelors degree in Engineering with equivalent work experience
