Job Description
Capgemini America, Inc. (Sogeti division) seeks Manager (Software Engineering), multiple positions, various levels. Duties: Identify and recommend changes such as automation and improvements to system and processes that can add significant value. Work with the client business users to understand the requirements and translate that into a functional & technical specification. Work with offshore teams to transfer the knowledge on systems, business requirements, functional & technical specifications. Develop and unit test as per the technical specification, support the offshore team with queries during development. Responsible to create / enhance MicroServices using Java, Spring, Springboot and Rest API. Liaise with other client staff including architects, system admins, business analyst, QA testers, PM, development & QA managers and business users as necessary to complete the development, maintenance of production support tasks. Provide support during QA & UAT testing and assist the offshore team in QA / UAT defect resolution as necessary. Provide go-live and warranty support for development projects and production incidents and develop functional and technical documentation on the system that are in scope. Analyze and resolve production incidents within the agreed SLA. Provide metrics and reports to support the work done in development, maintenance, production support and documentation on a weekly/ monthly basis while preparing detailed root cause, fix and lessons learned document to critical issues.
