Roles & Responsibilities:

+ Use Finite Element Analysis tools such as ANSYS to conduct 3D and 2D static, dynamic, vibration, and thermal analyses

+ Create Structural Analysis Memos which includes documenting all work, presenting findings to our customers, and making recommendations

+ Establishing design guidelines, clarifying structural and damage tolerance requirements, providing guidance on design improvements,

+ Review the work of other analysts using standards and specifications as criteria

+ Make technical recommendations based on engineering judgment and interpretation of analysis results

+ Support quotation efforts with accurate estimates of structures time required to complete tasks

+ Experience creating technical documentation detailing results of analysis and recommendations

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

+ BS or MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

+ Experience with mechanics of materials, vibrations, metal fatigue, and fractures mechanics

+ Experience with FEA, i.e

+ ANSYS and/or NASGRO software

+ Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship Required

+ Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures

Desired Skills:

+ SAP experience Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

+ Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.

+ Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.

+ Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.

+ Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.

+ Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM

+ Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
