The Opportunity:
We're looking to hire an Apprentice Carpenter that will be responsible for assisting in the installing, repairing, sanding and finishing wood floors.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in Cut, shape and assemble wood, using shop tools and equipment such as planers, jointers, shaper, routers, sanders and various power saws
- Assemble prepared components for wood flooring projects; athletic, commercial, and residential flooring
- Assist in preparing finish applications by installing, repairing, standing and finishing wood floors
- Read and interpret plans, sketches and shop drawings
- Maintain and clean equipment and work area
