Job Description
As a member of the Enterprise Architecture team, participate in enterprise and systems architecture definition and implementation with a focus on the infrastructure architecture domain across company businesses. Duties: work closely with the IT Infrastructure & Operations team, and other IT and business stakeholders, to develop strategic IT infrastructure roadmaps, infrastructure architecture standards, best practices and IT infrastructure reference architectures for both private and public cloud; provide technical oversight to ensure that third party vendors adhere to previously developed and approved Enterprise Architecture standards, best practices and reference architectures; develop infrastructure standards, reusable patterns, practices, and enterprise reference architectures based on industry best practices that align with the company’s overall infrastructure architectural blueprint; moderate Architectural Review for solution proposals, drive guidelines and documentation; partner with the information security team to ensure all applicable security and compliance standards and requirements are incorporated into solution design; identify opportunities to enhance the infrastructure architecture and compute platforms; design appropriate topologies for deploying to hybrid platforms (on-Premise and Cloud); proactively identify and manage risks, opportunities, compliance issues or other infrastructure architecture concerns; perform as the lead infrastructure architect in driving the infrastructure architecture solution for business and IT projects; participate in architecture governance processes to enable Sr. IT leadership to direct investment towards strategically significant infrastructure activities and projects; evaluate and recommend new technologies, propose solutions and introduce new processes as appropriate; design solutions to meet project objectives by focusing on long-term business goals.
