Job Description
Requirements:
10 years as a Pilot, including 4000 total flight hours with 3600 hours plus PIC (Pilot in Command) in jets. Experience must also include:
Flight experience in South America, Europe and Africa
Flight experience in Brazil and South America including specifically at Santos Dumont Airport (SBRJ) and at Congonhas Airport (SBSP)
Managerial aviation experience including liaise with flight operations, training and maintenance providers
Must be fluent in both Portuguese and English (speaking, reading and writing)
JOB DUTIES: Pilot and navigate the flight of fixed-wing aircraft; start engines, operate controls, and pilot airplanes to transport passengers; monitor engine operation, fuel consumption, and functioning of aircraft systems during flights; coordinate flight activities with ground crews and air traffic control; plan and formulate flight activities and test schedules and prepare flight evaluation reports; responsible for all arrangements for flight and passengers, including catering, refueling etc; arrange their own regular training and airplane maintenance. Majority of time spent flying (South America, Europe and/or Africa) as needed to meet business demands. Must live within normal commuting distance of place of employment (Dupage Airport, West Chicago, IL).
