Job Description

Coilcraft, Inc., founded in 1945, is an established worldwide organization specializing in the manufacture of magnetic components with headquarters located in Cary, Illinois. We are seeking an individual to lead and manage our IT team.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing day-to-day IT operations for North America, including systems analysis, programming, and computer operations.
• Maintain an understanding of global security, privacy, and compliance frameworks.
• Direct the development and maintenance of all aspects of the data processing operation, ensuring timeliness and high-quality standards.
• Determine and recommend department expenditures, including negotiating with vendors and analyzing controllable expenses.
• Plan and coordinate the evaluation and effectiveness of existing data processing applications and new applications' feasibility and potential value.
• Responsible for establishing priorities and schedules for the development of data processing applications and maintaining standards for systems analysis and applications programming.
• Ensure project timelines, scope, and expenses are justified.
• Determine appropriate staffing levels and facilitate recruiting and training new employees.
• Effectively collaborate with company leadership, both internal and external customers and vendors.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Five years in a leadership position with systems development experience.
• Knowledge of ERP and all business functions.
• Must have familiarity with IBM i, Windows server environment, and Cloud applications.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to handle multiple responsibilities, prioritize work schedules and ensure project completion.
