a: Full time 11 am to 7 pm Starting pay $18.50: Diversity Statement: Intentionally co-creating a culture of belonging and equity.: Under the direct supervision of the Culinary Services Director, assures that the Dietary Department complies with all State, Federal, local, and company regulations concerning personnel requirements, food storage, preparation, handling, and serving along with all safety and sanitation procedures.: * Assist the Culinary Services Director in hiring, evaluating, supervising, training and terminating of dietary employees. * Assist the Culinary Services Director with scheduling of employees. * Attending required meetings as requested by the Administrator and the Culinary Services Director * Physically counting all food stuffs on hand on the last day of every month and completing an inventory report. * Assist the Culinary Services Director with ordering groceries, perishables, dairy products, paper goods, chemicals and cleaning supplies from approved vendors. * Assuring that all menus and standardized recipes are followed. * Continuously reviewing new methods, products, procedures and services to upgrade standards of service with approval. * Insuring that all food served is of the highest quality and is nutritionally adequate. * Assuring that therapeutic diets are served according to the menu. * Must have a working knowledge and be able to perform the duties of a Cook and Dietary Aide. * Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to facility safety program at all times. * Able to perform all other duties as assigned. * Willingness to work every other weekend to ensure the continuity of the kitchen. * Attend food council meetings/resident council meetings upon request. * Performs other duties as assigned. Education/Experience: To have successfully completed an approved State Food Sanitation Course along with the accompanying exams. To have experience and knowledge of food service management in a health care facility is preferable. Must meet health assessment requirements. Must be capable of performing each of the essential position functions. Valid drivers license with driving record in good standing per insurance vendor.:
