job summary:
National Manufacturer is seeking a permanent Process Engineering Manager. This position will be remote, ideally located in the Greater Chicago, Illinois area. Travel is required to various plants in the US – Up to 60%. The Process Engineering Manager will oversee a team of 6 employees as well as develop the engineering team, identify process improvement opportunities, and lead the implementation of standardized processes across the company.
Salary is commensurate on experience ranging up to $190K, plus PTO and other great benefits! All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.

responsibilities:
+ Directs and manages the engineering department responsible for optimization and implementation of manufacturing processes
+ Manage of team building and provide technical leadership for the design and implementation of features, processes, and improvements
+ Ability to attract, train and develop key talent, particularly in the Process Technical & Lean Manufacturing roles
+ Participate on the installation, testing, operation, and maintenance requirements of facilities and equipment, making sure all process technical tasks are executed by the personnel responsible
