The Building Maintenance department is responsible for efficiently and effectively maintaining all Bank facilities, buildings, and grounds.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the maintenance of Bank buildings, in-store banking facilities, and other leased facilities within the Quad City and Kane County markets.
Maintain sufficient supply of materials such as lighting equipment, plumbing supplies, paper products, etc. for all locations.
Deliver supplies/materials to facilities as needed.
Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors and bid on jobs and supplies with emphasis on obtaining the best price, value, and quality of work.
Oversee the maintenance program for Banks fleet of vehicles.
Maintain and manage OREO properties as requested by senior management.
Serve as liaison for occupant tenants in market areas as required.
Review maintenance invoices to ensure accuracy of charges and billing allocation.
Regularly communicate with supervisor regarding works in progress and identify and prioritize projects.
Assist with other projects as assigned.
General knowledge of basic hand tools, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, painting, building/grounds/lawn care and physical security.
Strong interpersonal skills regarding communication with vendors, tenants, and employees.
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
High school diploma or recognized equivalent required.
5+ years of general maintenance required.
Proof of insurance (if driving own vehicle) required.
Proof of valid drivers license with no history of incidents or traffic violations required.
Ability to operate general office equipment.
