Marquette Bank, one of Chicago's largest lenders among neighborhood banks, is hiring!We're looking for experienced Mortgage Originators and Home Financing Specialists to service the Chicagoland market.
This draw-on-commission role is designed for dynamic individuals experienced in commissioned sales.
If you're a talented Mortgage Loan Officer with expertise in sales, strong experience in loan origination experience and a proven ability to set and achieve challenging personal production and service goals, this opportunity is for you!
As an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer/Originator at Marquette Bank, the right candidate will possess:
*Documented experience in retail residential mortgage origination experience
*Clear and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, across a variety of audiences
*All requirements for Mortgage Loan Originators set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of required background checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS
The responsibilities of this position include:
*Developing business relationships to generate customer leads
*Compiling and analyzing data for mortgage requests
*Setting customer expectations and educating them on the entire mortgage origination process
*Preparing loan applications and required disclosures
*Working with processors to keep all related parties advised of the status of the application
*Ensuring the loan is properly locked-in
*Coordinating with processing and closing areas to facilitate a prompt and accurate loan closing
*Ensuring that complete loan documentation is provided for internal processing
*Managing operational responsibilities (loan pipeline, sales production reports, etc.)
*Complying with all Federal and State compliance laws and regulations, and HMDA requirements
*Staying abreast of developments in the mortgage industry and the Bank's marketplace
