Join our team and become a part of making our resident's lives brighter! We are a Continuing Care Retirement Community providing all levels of care for our residents aged 62 and better.
This position's schedule changes bi weekly. Working the hours of 5:15am-2:15pm Monday-Friday and then the next week working Wednesday-Sunday.
The starting pay for this position is $15 and up, based upon background and experience.
In this role, theDining Services Aidewill:
Wait on assigned tables in Assisted Living.
Take Resident meal orders.
Setupand bus tables.
Pre-service setup of tray-line for Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living.
Assembling individual meals on tray-line and delivery of room trays to residents in Skilled Nursing.
Cleaning the dining room/collecting all meal trays and tableware for the dishwasher at the end of each shift.
Assuring that all shift duties are thoroughly completed before the close of each shift period.
The ideal candidate will have:
Relevantdining experience, preferred.
Ability to demonstrate effective reading, writing, speaking skills in English, required.
Full understanding and effective application of sanitation, food borne illness, and cross-contamination policies and procedures as well as the use of HACCP protocols.
Willingness to work with and interact with older adults who may need additional assistance at mealtimes, and or residents who are in recovery from recent surgeries or illness.
