Job Description

Travel to meet prospects and customers; conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers; build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers; maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts; educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally; sell the company’s products or services to customers; monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs; utilize superior analytical skills for understanding the client’s needs and creating solutions to technical problems; develop supply sources and qualify vendors according to company standards; maintain vendor credentials and negotiate best pricing; inspect incoming parts and custom fabrications against requirements both in house and at customer locations; analyze drawings/schematics determine the exact component requirements; work with project team to coordinate purchasing for multiple ongoing projects and aftermarket sales; assist other Associates with special projects unrelated to essential functions as needed; perform onsite pilot plant trials; provide technical assistance at customers location. 35% domestic/international travel.
