Logistics Specialist and Dispatcher
Location: Joliet, IL
Experience Level: Entry Level
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
Aston Carter is hiring a Logistics Specialist and Dispatcher for a National Fleet Management Company
• Schedule/dispatch fleet drivers
• Provide quotes to drivers
• Schedule service and repair appointments for vehicles en route
• Transport vehicles in and out of lot as needed from on-site storage facility
• Communicate updates to internal staff, satellite locations, and clients
• Create and close purchase orders into internal CRM
• Monitor dispatch board
• Verify correct ETAs and updates to and from drivers
• Verify that Drivers’ times match the establish agreements
• Check emails from after hours and follow up with customers
• Check voicemails from after hours and follow up with customers
• Audit customers with service agreements and schedule services accordingly
• Monitor vehicles en route, and track inventory into Excel Spreadsheets
• Order & track parts, and coordinate pick-ups
Qualifications:
+ 6+ months handling high volume calls
+ 6+ months of coordinating and scheduling experience
+ Ability to type 35wpm
+ Proven experience utilizing CRMs – Salesforce, ServiceTitan, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.
+ Comfortability operating in a fast-paced environment
+ Previous logistics, supply chain, operations, fleet management, transportation, or related experience is a plus!
