ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Interviews patients and conducts basic physical examinations to identify health problems
Assesses data and determines the health status of patients
Subject to a physician's review, orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic tests and procedures
Diagnoses and treats common illnesses and injuries
Develops and implement treatment plans;
Monitor patient's progress;
Prescribes and administers medications and drugs;
Refers to patients for specialized attention where needed;
Confers with medical providers on cases with acute and chronic conditions;
Counsels and educates individuals on the prevention on illnesses and the promotion, restoration, and maintenance of health.

Workdays: M, W, F 8-4, Tue, Thurs 9-5, 10-6
Salary: $91,848

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Training, and Experience
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in Nursing with certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a specialized area is required. Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse.

Applicants must possess a valid State of Illinois Registered Nurse license at the time of employment.
SELECTION REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires applicants tocomplete an interview. Interviewed candidates possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position will be hired.

Preference will be given to those who possess:
1-year
Candidates
Needs to be able to use the speculum in conducting a basic female examination
Ability to conduct blood draws/administer vaccines.
Basic knowledge of STI and medications for STI treatment. Knowledge of EMR systems used for patient documentation
Possess FPA (full practice authority)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER WORK REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments
