Who we are looking for:
We are currently looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to be based out of Greater Chicago Area, IL. Reporting to Sr. Director, Pricing Strategy, this person will be responsible for building pricing related data analytics for various business units.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in data analytics or pricing OR a MS in Finance, Business analytics, Economics, or MBA with a focus on pricing and analytics.
What you'll do:
3-4-month rotation with each business unit for 18-24 months to develop & Implement customer segmentation
Work with key stake holders to support and develop Pricing discount structure by each business unit based on volume, order type, customer segmentation, Part /Product type.
Establish standard work and documentation
What you'll bring:
MS in Finance, Business analytics, economics, or MBA with a focus on pricing and analytics.
5-7 years of data related experience (advanced excel skills and knowledge of statistical tools)
Ability to analyze data to create reports
Advanced experience with writing queries - SQL, Power BI.
Experience with Tableau, JDE and Salesforce is a plus.
Within 3 months, you'll:
Complete your Atkore immersion program
Understand how your job will help deliver Atkore's strategy.
Gain an understanding of data and tools.
Within 6 months, you'll:
Partnering with Business units to get an understanding of how each product line pricing works.
Deep dive in customer segmentation analysis and looking at it from various aspects to optimize results.
Working with BU specific pricing teams to optimize discount structure by product line.
Be able to maintain pricing in JDE by product line.
Within 12 months, you'll:
Establish customer segmentation and discount structure for 2-3 business units by product line.
Establish standard work and documentation.
Create pricing metrics to define success based on segmentations and discount structure.
