Job Description:
Candidates will be working in the production of de-boning pork items. The facility is not a slaughter house – large cuts of meat are received from their plant in Central Illinois where they are cut in specified areas to remove bones and other excess parts that are typically discarded. Candidates will be working on production lines in GMP attire , using handheld blades to meticulously make the necessary cuts. They will wear special gloves that will keep their hands warm and protected, as well as wrist guards.
The entire production facility is cold and refrigerated. Candidates will be required to wear hair nets and beard nets, as it is a GMP environment. Clean smock jackets will be provided, and candidates are encouraged to wear sweatshirts, hoodies, or even hats as well.
