Crystal Woods Golf Club is seeking an individual to join our team in Woodstock, IL.

The Grille Restaurant operates on a full schedule throughout the traditional golf season (April thru October) and on an abbreviated schedule November thru March. The FOH Supervisor is a respected leadership position that works in coordination and regular communication with the Executive Chef/Kitchen Manager to insure daily service and event operations are well planned and executed for consistent success. The FOH Supervisor is a person who enjoys contributing to a very positive TEAM culture, is well versed with server and bar tender experience, is organized in time and task management, shares and promotes priorities for cleanliness, and believes strongly in positive relations with customers and team members. This trusted key position is always provided with the necessary tools to be successful, is well compensated, and plays a significant role in the growing future of the Crystal Woods organization. Position Concept: Food & Beverage Front of the House (FOH) team members are one of the most interactive and impactful positions of the F&B Department and overall, Crystal Woods experience. This position is tasked with leading an exceptional team culture of excellent service, cleanliness mixing and serving alcoholic beverages and draft beers, and prompt delivery of food to guests dining indoors as well as take-out service to golfers. This position not only recruits, trains and supervises all FOH positions but also actively participates in all FOH activities. Essential Job Functions The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

+ Supervises and directs food and beverage staff to meet the service expectations of members and guests as requested by the General Manager.

+ May be responsible to open shifts and/or close shifts as requested by the General Manager, which includes assisting with register set-up and/or closing and proper handling of deposits.

+ Assists with serving members and guests during course functions in a manner that meets or exceeds the needs and service expectations of the members and guests.

+ May be required to direct the set-up and/or take down of course events and completes necessary reports for the event.

+ Assists in staff scheduling and maintaining accurate food and bar inventory as requested by General Manager.

+ Complies with the terms of purchasing agreements and vendor contracts.

+ Ensures that food and beverage facilities and equipment are properly maintained and in good repair.

+ Assists in ensuring food and beverage employees are compliant with health code standards and following applicable liquor laws.

+ Assists Food and Beverage Manager with training new staff and serves as an example for all food and beverage staff related to providing exceptional customer service to members and guests.

+ Attends and actively participates in regularly scheduled staff meetings.

+ Demonstrates a commitment to the work and success of the club and the Company by being service- and solution-oriented, having positive interactions with all club staff and members/guests, and meeting established quality, service and safety expectations.

+ Performs additional assignments per the direction of club or Company managers.

+ Regular and punctual attendance on site for all scheduled shifts is required.

+ Must have knowledge in food and beverage operations specifically in financial controls, staff management and facilities and equipment management.

+ Ability to provide high level of customer service with attention to detail. Able to plan and coordinate events that provide quality experiences to members/guests.

+ Understanding of safe food handling procedures and process. Able to direct and maintain a safe and secure environment and operation.

+ Demonstrates a sense of ownership in the work and a commitment to the success of the club.

Education and Experience

+ High School Diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.

+ One year of previous experience in food and beverage operations or related experience.

+ Proficient computer skills and experience with POS systems.

+ Certified Food Protection Manager (ServSafe Manager Certification)
