About the Team
The Marketing team is comprised of experts in marketing strategy, creative strategy, content creation, digital marketing, social media, and digital analytics. These team members are responsible for raising awareness of and increasing engagement with College Board'sthree highest priority programs: AP, SAT Suite, and BigFuture.
About the Opportunity
As a Visual Designer, you'll develop compelling visual solutions that connect with our key audiences, while helping to build and grow the BigFuture brand. You are open to working on any type of project - no matter the size or channel, or something outside of your current skill set. If you are adaptable, service-oriented, and dedicated to being an advocate for our users through great design, then we want to work with you.
In this role you will:
Strategize (20%)
- Develop compelling design solutions for BigFuture campaigns and brand initiatives, which includes digital marketing, email campaigns, social media, print, and video
- Collaborate with Marketing Operations colleagues on strategies to incorporate user feedback to ensure visual solutions connect with our key audiences
- Help foster an environment for collaboration by partnering with business and other creative units to align visual design approach with project goals and the BigFuture brand
Create (80%)
- Manage all phases of creative work from concept through completion, including design development and digital file preparation
- Concept and animate video content from start to finish for various platforms (social media, YouTube, College Board platforms, etc.)
- Work hands-on within a fast-paced, iterative design environment
- Collaborate with other creatives in our division to ensure compelling and effective design solutions are delivered
- Coordinate with project leads and creative team to ensure timely delivery of design artifacts.
- In collaboration with creative leads, successfully implement BigFuture branding work and enforce guidelines to ensure brand consistency
About You
You have:
- A portfolio of your creative work included in your application
- 2-3 years hands-on experience in design, including motion design and video
- Understanding of visual design systems, hierarchy, typography, illustration, iconography, photography, data visualization, interaction, and composition
- Sharp design sensibilities and are detail-oriented
- An eagerness to try new things - both in design and a variety of mediums
- Appetite for problem solving and a love for fast-paced environments
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; professional experience working with After Effects, Premiere, and 3D software, such as Cinema 4D or Blender, to bring 2D and 3D motion graphics to life.
- Willingness to travel 2-3 times per year or < 10% for in-person meetings/gatherings
- Bachelor's degree preferred

The salary offer of an individual candidate within this range is specific to their location and qualifications.
