Schedule: 1st and 2nd shift
Type of Job: 1 year; could possibly be extended
Biologist daily tasks :
+ Implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system and conducting simple to complex procedures and functions
+ Conducting routine procedures according to written and or verbal instruction with little direct supervision. Recognizes problems and errors and makes or seeks corrective actions.
+ Performing nonroutine analysis when given direction and functions in compliance with relevant corporate and division procedures
+ Reporting results according to documentation policies and procedures.
+ Complying with laboratory safety practices and maintaining a clean, safe work environment
Requirements for Biologist:
+ Associates with 2 year of field experience or Bachelors with no field experience
+ Previous experience with general lab equipment
+ High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
+ Must pass a standardized color blindness test and utilize a computer
