Primary accountabilities:

  • Ability to operate, monitor, adjust and repair production line(s) to ensure efficiency including Direct and Indirect Lead machines.
  • Install and Remove materials and/or finished products.
  • Must be able to efficiently inspect and package all voice coils including Direct and Indirect Lead voice coils within standard.
  • act as front line to equipment malfunctions and repairs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
  • Ability to operate all manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely, including before, during, and after shift equipment cleaning.
  • Act as Production Associate Leader and assist other Production Operators in all aspect of training and operation when needed.
  • Maintain clean work area through good housekeeping practices.
  • Expedite repairs.
  • Keep daily records of down time, machine operations, and machine repair logs.
  • Work to coordinate inventory of spare parts.
  • Must be able to work well with others in a team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
  • Ability to work 2nd Shift (3:30pm - 2:00am, Monday-Thursday) and occasional overtime.


Required experience:

  • Experience with high-speed production lines (e.g., high output, fully automated equipment, fast paced production environment, etc.)
  • Experience reading blueprints (e.g., read schematics on a machine, understanding production product flow, etc.)
  • Experience reading schedules (e.g., products being produced, understanding production requirements, production planning, handling changeovers, etc.)
  • Experience with computers in a manufacturing setting (e.g., electronic settings, line speed, pressures, basic troubleshooting, solving for faults/alarms and resetting equipment, etc.)
  • Experience with mechanical repairs (e.g., jams, using tools, adjustments to equipment, etc.)
  • Experience with preventative maintenance (e.g., inspecting and maintaining equipment, detecting, correcting issues before they occur, effectively follow and complete timely preventative maintenance documentation/logs etc.)


Additional:

Position requires lifting, carrying, and installing items weighing 10-50 pounds occasionally over a 10-hour work shift. This position requires walking or standing most of the time during the shift and may include stooping, crawling, and crouching. Normal shift is 3:30 pm - 2:00 am Monday - Thursday, with occasional overtime when needed. Training will start on 1st shift 5:00 am - 3:30 pm for 6-12 weeks. This position also requires a High School Diploma or GED.
