Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary 
 The Professional Staff Graduate Assistant for the College of Business (COB) will work to support a variety of initiatives within the Dean's Office, which include, but are not limited to the following areas: Innovation Hub; International Student Recruitment; and Administrative Data. This position will report to the Dean of the College of Business. The Professional Staff Graduate Assistant will be primarily responsible for:

-Administration activities as they relate to the College of Business and the Innovation Hub
-Provide support and direction toward International Student Recruitment Initiatives
-Assist the Coordinator for Administrative Data in all manner of data gathering, analysis, and organization

The Professional Staff Graduate Assistant will assist other COB Office of the Dean staff members with larger College of Business/Graduate School of Management (GSM) directives as time permits.
Responsibilities 
 Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University's Mission and Catholic and Lasallian higher education.

College of Business:
-Create and send save-the-date emails, invitations, and reminder emails for special events
-Track and update guest attendance spreadsheets
-Responsible for the event registration table including, but not limited to: greet attendees, assist with name tags, provide instructions to students, monitor list of check-ins, and provide updated information to the event staff
-Assist with post-event report
-Tracking and reporting of event expenses to COB Dean's Office

International Student Recruitment:
-Develop/Support initiatives related to International Student Recruitment for COB/GSM
-Provide assistance to the Office of Strategic International Initiatives, in partnership with COB/GSM goals

Innovation Hub:
-Assist with Br. Joel Damian Business Plan Competition, Celebration of Scholarship, and Innovation Hub events
-Answer telephone inquiries giving prompt and accurate information to incubator tenants, students, faculty/staff and the public in a professional and courteous manner
-Monitor the Innovation Hub, ensuring supplies are readily available for tenants and the room is in satisfactory condition
-Monitor the Innovation Lounge, ensuring supplies are readily available and the room is in satisfactory condition

Administrative Data:
Through the oversight of the Coordinator of Administrative Data the graduate assistant:
-Shall assist in all duties and responsibilities related to Data Administration & Evaluation, as well as Data Maintenance & Data Quality as they relate to compliance with accreditation standards

Marketing:
-Perform research including surveys, focus groups, and institutional benchmarking as requested
-Administer social media accounts (i.e., Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) and provide data analysis of all accounts
-Assist with various departmental marketing campaigns
-Coordinate production of videos for departmental use
-Assist with drafting marketing content
Minimum Qualifications 
 Bachelor's degree required and must be enrolled full-time and maintain academic excellence in one of Lewis University's graduate programs.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Superb computer skills
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
-Ability to create PDF documents and forms
-Willingness to work a varied schedule including nights/weekends during special events
-Accomplished leadership skills

-Goal Oriented
-Quick learner
Essential Duties
Work hours  
 The Graduate Assistant will be required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
