As an Operations Analyst, you will lead and work cross-functionally for end-to-end execution of supplier contracts and important activities with Grainger's suppliers and strategic initiatives. You will be a subject matter expert in best-in-class processes to enable industry-leading procurement and function as a thought leader for the team with a continuous-improvement mindset to help define standards and processes. You will report to the Procurement Manager.You Will:
Resolve procurement transaction issues
Analyze data to identify outliers and trends to identify opportunities and action plans
Follow standard purchasing operational processes and procedures
Continuously improve global procurement operation processes to maximize effectiveness and ensure improvements are customer-focused and aligned with our strategic direction and goals
Assist in the measurement of the effectiveness of assigned business processes through value added reporting and metrics
Help ensure connectivity and accountability of partners by maintaining communication channels
Drive both cultural and procedural changes across a global organizationYou Have:
Bachelor's degree requiredor extensive experience in operations
1+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Operations Management, Logistics Management or related experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office functionality (e.g. Word, Excel, Access dB, PowerPoint)Rewards and Benefits:
