Job Description
Shipping Clerk and Production Worker
$15-17.50/hr. – Morton, IL
Aerotek is looking for shipping clerk and production workers in Morton, IL, who has minimum of 9 months to 1 years of experience in manufacturing or any warehouse settings.
Responsibilities:
+ Shipping employees will be picking order based off a pick list that is given to them.
+ They will be using push carts to pick orders from locations.
+ All employees use RF scan guns to update inventory system.
+ Boxing, taping, labeling, and palletizing orders.
+ Once the order is picked and palletized, they will take it to the wrapper for wrapping and loading on the truck.
+ Shipping managers look for employees who take direction well and are team players.
+ They will be required to walk on their feet or stand at the workstation 8 hours a day every day.
+ They will be required to lift up to 50lbs on a daily basis.
Pay and Shift:
$15/hr – $17.50/hr
First shift – 6:00 am to 3:30 pm
Third shift – 9:00 pm to 6:30am
Job Qualifications:
+ Minimum of 9 months to 1 year of manufacturing or warehouse setting experience.
+ ENTRY LEVEL Ability to stay on feet all day
+ Lifting 50 lbs daily
Work Environment:
+ Semi-Temperature controlled warehouse environment.
+ It can get chilly in the shipping department due to the dock doors opening and closely
+ Forklift Traffic, need to be aware of their surroundings
+ Building was completed in 2014 and is clean and well lit.
