Description:
This position is for a Maintenance Technician in a food manufacturing environment where they are responsible for both mechanical and electrical repairs, preventative maintenance and other projects in the facility. They will perform services and repairs to ensure reliability of equipment and improve the overall equipment effectiveness of all machines within the manufacturing facility.
Candidates must have experience with industrial production equipment, pumps, motors and valves. There is a cooling system, homogenizing equipment, CIP cleaning equipment, sensors, heat exchangers, separators, filling machines, packing machines, conveying systems, shrink wrap machines and bottling machines, compressors, water chilling system, and powered dock doors.
Responsibilities:
Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fabrication, and machine servicing, also a familiarity with HVAC, ammonia and welding is a plus.
This individual will also need to work safely and cohesively to support, sustain, and improve the manufacturing facility, the building, and the grounds.
Troubleshooting and thoughtfully moving through observational data is foundational for this position.
Documenting procedures, and following written standard operating procedures is a surefire way to be successful in this role.
Job Requirements
5 years or more of experience within an industrial maintenance position. Food manufacturing would be a plus but is not required, open to all industries
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and electrical issues, percentage of type of work may vary
