The Opportunity

As the Proposal Specialist you will have the opportunity to:

+ Lead pre-proposal activities to include responding to client questionnaires, Requests for Information/Qualification (RFI/RFQ) and other inquiries

+ Tailor and develop unique, client-centric Statements of Qualifications (SOQ), brochures, resumes, presentations and other sales collateral to support successful business development efforts

+ Manage less complex Requests for Proposal (RFP) while executing directions from Project Managers (PM) and other Subject Matter Experts (SME)

+ Support Proposal Managers (PrM) with the coordination and development of more complex RFPs, to include ensuring deliverables are of high quality and are compliant with internal and external requirements

+ Research and run queries on company-wide solutions and client types utilizing Microsoft Sharepoint, Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software, Bentley ProjectWise and other applications and resources

+ Lead and enforce initiatives to support the company’s efforts to maintain brand, internal governance, and brand compliance

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead and/or contribute to the development of compliant, high quality RFI/RFQ/RFP responses and supporting material from assignment through award

+ Manage teams of cross-functional stakeholder groups to meet proposal objectives and deadlines

+ Coordinate meetings and reviews to drive proposal progress to meet scheduled milestones and compliance with requirements

+ Track meeting minutes and action items through distribution and completion

+ Ensure proposal files are set up and managed in accordance with best practices

+ Continually develop and manage reusable content to include templates, boilerplate, qualifications, resumes, project sheets and other materials

+ Collaborate with proposal teams and leadership to develop robust client presentations

+ Maintain Salesforce CRM, PowerBi, and other internal tools to track proposal status for leadership insight and review

+ Support the proposal team with the update and maintenance of resources and directories (key contacts lists, business enablement links etc.)

+ Bachelor’s degree preferred

+ Microsoft Office Suite (Sharepoint, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) preferred

+ Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) experience a plus

+ Business Insight – applies (and gains) knowledge of the business and marketplace to advance BV goals Creative – ability to develop unique content to sell BV solutions and solve unique internal challenges

+ Flexible- the ability to appropriately adapt to and mange quick changes in direction

Minimum Qualifications

+ 2 years experience required.

+ All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
