Motorola Solutions is looking for candidates with a strong understanding of vulnerability management, operating system and application patching and the particulars of how Microsoft makes updates available for the Windows operating system.
In this role, you will curate vulnerability patches, perform analysis on whether a particular vulnerability fix is available through a particular update and search for answers to questions posed by product teams as they relate to potential vulnerabilities. You will collaborate with the test lab and field technicians to troubleshoot problems as they arise and come up with innovative solutions. On a monthly and quarterly basis, you will assemble an update for our customers to apply in their application environments.
Responsibilities
Assemble a curated list of monthly Microsoft patches for distribution to customers
Collaborate with field technicians and assist them in troubleshooting issues with updates and patches
Research CVEs and KBs to determine applicability
Assume ownership role and mastery of applicable business and technical areas and knowledge share with team members
Interface with primary internal customers and business owners to improve process efficiency.
Strong analytical skills and troubleshooting skills
Good interpersonal communication skills
MCSA or MCSE certification preferred
Basic Requirements
Experience with Microsoft Windows vulnerability management, patching and maintenance
Experience with the Common Vulnerabilities and Exposure (CVE) system
Bachelor's degree OR 1+ years of relevant experience
