We are currently seeking a Senior Loan Review Analyst. This position will effectively carry out Reviewer-In-Charge responsibilities such as planning, fieldwork, reporting and close-out for larger and more complex loan portfolios. Manage reviews end-to-end with minimal to no support and supervision, within stated deadlines. Make recommendations on issues and corrective actions. Generally assigned more complex credits to review with higher risk and larger exposures. Primarily focused on commercial loans of all types and complexity. Expected to consistently maintain a higher degree of productivity. Ownership and coverage of portfolios (i.e. LOB, Region, Industry, Portfolio Segment, etc.). Maintain regular contact with key stakeholders to stay abreast of portfolio developments and emerging risks. Monitor industries and perform periodic risk assessments as needed. Develop and cultivate direct relationships with senior management. Lead and support management on other non-review activities and projects as needed including due diligence reviews of potential targets.
Expected to exhibit high levels of:
Leadership and professionalism as a representative of Loan Review and the overall Risk Management function.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities under strict deadlines.
Strong language, communication, reasoning, financial and analytical skills.
Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of Loan Review processes and procedures.
Provide mentoring and training for other team members.
Note: some travel will be required to meet with stakeholders
Skill and Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of loan review experience preferred along with a Bachelor's degree in the areas of study, Business, Finance or Accounting.
Overall minimum 10 years of loan review, credit underwriting, commercial lending, risk management or credit administration experience at a financial institution, with superior knowledge of, Commercial loan documentation, identifying red flags and problem loans, Current economic trends, Regulations impacting consumer and commercial lending practices.
Proficient with the various Bank systems including Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
Will be required to complete the RMA CRC certification or equivalent loan review certification.
