Day to day:
• Utilizes software and hardware knowledge to Respond to production and engineering needs to implement Corrective Actions, Product Change Notices & Continuous improvements and error proofing solutions.
• Maintains a high-level knowledge of device technology including sensing, vision, leak testing, scanning etc. Supports device study, selection, testing, purchasing and integration.
• Leads the design, construction, programming validation, and integration of testing & programming equipment.
• Supports Manufacturing Engineers on new product/process developments requiring nonstandard process control solutions.
• Supports high level troubleshooting requirements when problems with processes and equipment occur.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must Haves:
- 5+ years’ embedded software/ firmware development
- Strong programming skills in C
- Understanding of HW components – work with EE’s to determine what components need to be used
o Brushless Motor experience PLUS
o Automotive/ Aerospace PLUS
