Job Description
We are looking for a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for a high-paying Home Hospice After Hours On-Call Weeknight position. The RN will be on call from 4pm-12:30am Monday through Friday, plus every other weekend. The nurse can work mostly at home for this position and can sleep during these hours but must be available to answer the phone and possibly go out to do a visit if a patient’s call can’t be handled any other way. The Registered Nurse will only have to go out and do a treatment in an emergency. The Registered Nurse is not required to have Home Health or Hospice experience; however, the nurse must have at least 1 year of hands on RN experience with adult or geriatric medical/surgical patients, or labor and delivery. This Home Hospice On-Call position is with a home health and hospice company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity. REQUIREMENTS OF THE HOME HOSPICE AFTER HOURS ON-CALL REGISTERED NURSE POSITION: The Registered Nurse is not required to have Home Health or Hospice experience; however, the nurse must have at least 1 year of hands on RN experience working in labor and delivery, or with adult or geriatric medical/surgical patients in any of the following settings: Emergency Room, Emergency Department, rehabilitation Center / skilled nursing facility SNF, home health care / visiting nurse setting, rehab hospital, correctional facility, hospital / medical center, Intensive Care Unit ICU, Medical Intensive Care Unit MICU, Surgical Intensive Care Unit SICU, Definitive Observation Unit DOU, Critical Care Unit CCU, float / pool nurse. The RN must also have a current CPR certification, valid Driver’s license, and valid auto insurance. The registered nurse must be a registered nurse (RN). The registered nurse must be licensed in the state. The Registered Nurse must either be a US Citizen or have your green card. This company requires a COVID-19 vaccine.
